Purpose of the site

The Flight Deck provides aviation lessons, diagrams, interactive models, study tools, and practice questions for personal learning. These materials supplement flight training. They do not replace instruction, approved aircraft documents, or official requirements.

Use your aircraft’s approved POH/AFM, current aircraft records, your instructor’s guidance, and current official regulations and operational information for real flight decisions. Illustrations and calculations use stated assumptions and may simplify aircraft behavior. Practice results and completion marks do not certify competence, establish eligibility for a certificate, or guarantee an examination result.

Accounts and responsible use

You may browse lessons without an account. If you create an account, provide accurate information, use your own account, and protect your sign-in details. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Do not use the site unlawfully, impersonate another person, access another person’s account or study records, bypass security controls, or interfere with the site or its services. Do not submit harmful code or use automated requests that disrupt service. Access may be restricted to address abuse or security problems.

Learning materials and third-party content

You may view, use, and print The Flight Deck’s original learning materials for your personal study. Ask for permission before selling, republishing, or distributing those materials, and preserve source credits and notices when making permitted copies.

Third-party materials, software, and linked references remain subject to their own licenses and terms. This personal-study permission does not change those licenses or claim ownership of third-party or public-domain material. External websites have their own content, terms, and privacy practices.

Accuracy, availability, and saved work

The site may contain errors or become outdated. Check the cited official sources and tell us about mistakes. Site content and features may change, and access can be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems, or service-provider issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular learning outcome.

Saved completion, favorites, and quiz results are study conveniences. They are not an official training record or logbook. Keep any records you need for training separately; do not rely on the site as your only copy. How account and study information is handled is described in the privacy statement.

Read the Privacy statement for information about sign-in providers, saved study data, cookies, browser storage, and requests concerning your information. Acknowledging the cookie notice does not accept these terms or authorize optional tracking.
